Bogut rolls on

Australian Andrew Bogut's recent purple patch has continued after he produced another standout performance for the Milwaukee Bucks in their 97-81 win over the Miami Heat.

Bogut scored a team-high 22 points on a brilliant 10-of-13 clip from the field, pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and picked up a block from just over 34 minutes of court time.

In fact only Miami superstar Dwyane Wade (23) scored more points than Bogut in the match.

Paul Millsap led a superb team effort as the Utah Jazz overcame fellow Western Conference high-fliers Dallas Mavericks 104-92.

The forward scored 25 points and saw five team-mates reach double figures as the hosts pulled clear in a 27-16 final quarter to claim victory.

The result sees the Jazz stay in touch with North-West Division leaders Denver Nuggets, who edged past Sacramento Kings, while Dallas remains top of the South-West Division.

The Nuggets were taken to overtime at the Pepsi Center, with Arron Afflalo's late jumper and a free throw from Chauncey Billups settling the clash 112-109 in their favour.

Kenyon Martin top-scored with 24 points while Billups added 23.

Third-placed Portland Trail Blazers were another North-West team celebrating victory after seeing off the Charlotte Bobcats 98-79.

The Blazers never looked back after dominating the first quarter to take a 29-19 lead.

Bogut's compatriot Patrick Mills could only manage 97 seconds of court time for Portland.

Pacific Division leaders Los Angeles Lakers were upset 95-93 by South-West strugglers Memphis Grizzlies despite Kobe Bryant's 44 points.

Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph led the way with 25 and 22 points respectively, the former's three-pointer 30 seconds from time ultimately proving to be the decisive score.

The Boston Celtics eased past the Washington Wizards 99-88, despite no player scoring more than Kevin Garnett's 19 points, as once again six players recorded double figures.

A 29-15 second quarter helped the Phoenix Suns to a 109-100 win over a New Orleans Hornets side missing Chris Paul.

Amar'e Stoudemire led the way with a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds.
