For the first time in his career, Yasiel Puig could end up on the 15-day disabled list. The outfielder missed his third game in a row Friday due to a tight hamstring, which is starting to worry the Dodgers.

However, Puig has continued to dress out and warm up with the team, which has brought some comfort to the team.

"I don't feel like it's that serious. I watched him and it seemed like he ran pretty good, but obviously he's still feeling a little something and that's where the hamstring always is tricky," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly told ESPN.com.

The injury seemed to happen during Monday's game against the Mariners when Puig made a catch in the ninth inning. Neither Puig nor the team addressed the specifics of when the injury happened.

Puig wasn't used as a pinch hitter on Friday as to avoid aggravating the injury. The Dodgers defeated the Rockies, 7-3.
