Despite coming up short in Super Bowl XLIX, quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have topped NFL player merchandise sales for the second straight year, NFL Players Inc. has announced.

Wilson led all players in sales of officially licensed Nike jerseys and ugly sweaters while Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning once again finished second after doing the same in 2014, although he did lead player bobblehead sales.

While quarterbacks dominated the top five, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant ranked highest among non-quarterbacks at number six and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman came in top among defensive players at number seven.

In total, NFLPI licensees produced retail sales that surpassed $1.4 billion for the fiscal year 2015, which began March 1, 2014 and ended February 28 of this year.
