Curtis Glencross has waived his no-trade clause to pave the way for the Flames to trade him to the Capitals.

In exchange, Washington sent two 2015 draft picks (second and third-round) to Calgary, per Sportsnet's Chris Johnston. Glencross was reportedly pulled out of practice Sunday to go to the team’s hotel to meet with general manager Brad Treliving. Before he left, his teammates had a farewell salute.
