Eastern Kentucky offensive lineman Colton Scurry reportedly got into a fight this weekend with several University of Kentucky football players.

Scurry's father, Jeff, and witnesses confirmed the fight to the Courier-Journal. Scurry's dad said his son sustained multiple facial fractures. An image floating around of the EKU lineman backs up that claim.

While Scurry appears to have suffered the worst of the injuries, witnesses say he was the one who instigated the fight at Jerzees bar. Two EKU students spoke with the Courier-Journal and said Scurry started it. They also claim the three University of Kentucky football players involved were Drew Barker, Dorian Baker and Tymere Dubose.

"I was actually pretty sober and I was watching everything that was going down," EKU sophomore Zach Littleton said. "Basically what happened was a bunch of UK football players come in and all you hear is, 'This is my neighborhood. What are you doing here?'

"I know if there's any video, you'll see I'm trying to defuse the situation. I was getting between them and saying, 'Calm down. Calm down.' (But) As soon as (Scurry) pushed Will, it was just a big mess. From what I saw, it wasn't just Colton. I saw a bunch of people swinging for no reason."

Scurry's injuries are serious enough where he may need reconstructive surgery. According to a Deadspin tipster, someone claimed Scurry's head was smashed with a beer bottle.

"He's got so much swelling," the father said. "He couldn't see for the last two days. Several fractures in his face and nose."

Barker, Baker and Dubose (the UK players alleged in the fight) were among four UK players suspended for an airsoft pellet gun scare on UK's campus in September. The players were suspended one game for their roles in the incident.

According to the Courier-Journal, no charges or complaints have been filed.
