Texas A&M fans may soon be able to rest a little easier after a big-time recruit reiterated his intentions to come to College Station.

Kyler Murray, one of the top prep quarterbacks in the nation, appears to have decided to stick with his commitment to Texas A&M. Murray was scheduled to meet A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Gerry Hamilton.

This tweet appears to affirm he is sticking with the Aggies.

Murray originally committed to A&M last May, but over the last few weeks, there was concern that he might decide to head elsewhere. He had a visit with Oregon on Wednesday, and was scheduled for one with Texas head coach Charlie Strong on Friday.

The 5’11 quarterback won three-straight state championships, going 42-0 as a starter en route to winning the 2014 Gatorade National Player of the Year honors
