Tashaun Gipson wants a new contract, and will not attend OTAs until he gets one from the Browns, according to NFL Network.

The Pro Bowl safety has not signed his restricted free agent tender as he hopes to get a long-term contract. It's still early in the process, but if Gipson continues to refuse to sign his tender, things can get complicated, especially near training camp.

The three-year pro has been a success after Cleveland signed him as an undrafted free agent. He led the AFC in interceptions in 2013 and 2014 while also becoming a Pro Bowl player last season.

Earlier this month, Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden said he didn't expect his teammate to hold out for training camp and acknowledged Gipson's frustrations with a new contract.

"It's a business and sometimes when the players do their part of it, being a business it looks a little foggy," Haden said, via NFL.com. "I think he's going to be OK. He understands what's going on. He's going to be out there for training camp for sure."
