The defending FIS World Cup ski jumping champion has yet to feature in the new season due to an ankle injury sustained before the opening round in Klingenthal.
While the Pole is making good progress following surgery on the problem, he is not prepared to rush his recovery and put his participation at the World Championships in danger.
That will see the 27-year-old miss the Four Hills tournament, which begins on December 28, but Stoch has more important targets in 2015.
"The World Championships are the highlights this season," he said. "I don't want to risk missing that.
"I will not start jumping again until I'm completely sure that everything is okay.
"The recovery process is most important for me right now.
"I'm doing pretty well, my leg is also getting better. Of course it's not 100 per cent okay yet, but I have a lot less pain.
"I feel that everything goes in the right direction, but I still need some more time to recover after surgery."
In Stoch's absence, Norway's Anders Fannemel leads the overall standings thanks to three podium finishes, while second-place Roman Koudelka is only two points behind after two victories from the nine rounds.
