The Tampa Bay Lightning, the St Louis Blues and the Pittsburgh Penguins all tied their respective Stanley Cup play-off series at 1-1 on Saturday.

Both the Blues and Lightning evened things up on their home ice in a big way, and the Penguins stole a road victory to even their series with the New York Rangers.

The Lightning blasted the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday in a 5-1 victory, while the Blues finally found their offense in a 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.

In Saturday's night games, the Penguins rallied for a 4-3 win over the New York Rangers and the Anaheim Ducks took a 2-0 series lead with a tough 2-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Tyler Johnson scored the game's first goal in Tampa Bay on a rebound off a Nikita Nesterov shot.

Johnson then added another just before the end of the second period to give the Lightning a 4-0 lead. In between Johnson's goals, were scores from Alex Killorn and Andrej Sustr, who took a crossing pass from Valtteri Filppula to score.

Tomas Tatar pulled one back for the Red Wings, before Filppula added the fifth himself on a powerplay.

Vladimir Tarasenko struck his first career hat-trick to send the Blues to a big win over the Wild.

Two first-period goals, plus a late empty-netter, gave the Russian his treble.

Sidney Crosby inspired the Penguins with two second-period goals against the Rangers, helping them arrest a one-goal deficit to square their series.

The Jets coughed up a lead in the final 10 minutes, as Patrick Maroon and Jakob Silfverberg goals took the Ducks to a 2-0 series lead.
