Blues, Penguins swap centers: Lapierre for Goc

In the first trade after the NHL's All-Star break, the Blues on Tuesday moved Maxim Lapierre to the Penguins in exchange for Marcel Goc in a swap of fourth-line centers.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, Lapierre is the fourth-line center Penguins were seeking, with good speed and decent play on faceoffs.

Lapierre has nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 45 games this season. Goc has two goals and four assists in 43 games.
