'South Park' shreds Redskins, Goodell and Rice in season premiere

South Park

The episode opened with the group of kids visiting the patent office trying to confirm a name for their start-up company. Corpulent antagonist Eric Cartman comes to the rescue, deciding to name the start-up "Washington Redskins" since the team's trademark was pulled (which, in fact, it was).

Instantaneously, the company starts to make money despite not doing anything, quite like the actual football team. Cartoon Dan Snyder soon shows up and demands that the kids change the name, citing insensitivity toward his people, aka his franchise.

Shockingly enough, Kirk Cousins is standing behind Snyder. In the show's teaser trailer - see below - Robert Griffin III was behind Snyder, but the show made the change now that RG3 is on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Once again, the show's creators nailed the issue, making Daniel Snyder look like the type of people he is fighting off.

But Snyder wasn't the only one in the show's crosshairs. Quotes from Roger Goodell's press conference regarding Ray Rice were used as Commissioner "GoodellBot" tries to tell Snyder how the league plans to combat the issue.

There was also this.

In typical "South Park" fashion, they pulled no punches and went after everyone.

In the show's defence, the NFL gave them a lot of material with which to work.
