Ole Miss appears to have gotten a 2-for-1 deal, scoring a new quarterback and administrator from the same family in less than two weeks.

Sean Patterson, brother of five-star Ole Miss recruit Shea Patterson, has been hired to an off-field position at the same school, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

The elder Patterson is listed as associate director for recruiting on the school’s online directory. He previously worked in a quality control position for SEC West-rival LSU prior to resigning Feb. 17. Coincidentally, that was the same day that his younger brother committed to Ole Miss.

Sean Patterson played his college ball at Duquesne, throwing for more than 6,700 career yards. Though his current position is non-coaching, Sean previously served as Shea’s quarterback coach.
