Baseball players seem to be more prone than others to suffering unconventional injuries. Scooter Gennett is further evidence.

The Brewers second baseman will miss time after cutting his hand in the shower following a game in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

The cut required stitches, which Gennett showed off on his Instagram.

Gennett is hitting .207/.303/.207 in 33 plate appearances over 10 games this season.
