Saints cornerback arrested on resisting charges

Brian Dixon, a second-year cornerback for the Saints, was arrested Sunday morning in Miami on charges of resisting an officer without violence to his person.

Dixon was released on $1,000 bond after being booked in the Miami-Dade County Jail at 5:50 a.m. Dixon tweeted later in the morning he was fully cooperative with police.

Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate obtained furter details regarding Dixon's arrest. 

According to Nola.com, the Saints are aware of the situation and declined to comment.

After signing as an undrafted rookie from Northwest Missouri State, Dixon played in all 16 games for the Saints in 2014 and recorded 18 tackles and one forced fumble.
