But when he's not clowning around, he's wisely managing his multimillion-dollar earnings.

Rob Gronkowski loves to party and clown around, living out his youth and fame to the max.

What he's not doing is blowing his money.

The Patriots tight end is financially prudent. In his new autobiography, "It's Good to be Gronk," Gronkowski says he hasn't spent any of the $10 million in NFL salary he has earned. Instead, he lives on what he earns from endorsements and appearances.

"To this day, I still haven't touched one dime of my signing bonus or NFL contract money," he told TheMMQB.com. "I live off my marketing money and haven't blown it on any big-money expensive cars, expensive jewelry or tattoos and still wear my favorite pair of jeans from high school."

Same jeans from high school? How ... and why? Questions for another day. The point is Gronkowski is frugal and wise, preparing himself for retirement while he's still maximizing his earning potential.
