A couple in Ohio was surprised to see their faces on a book titled, "A Gronking to Remember," and they're suing as a result.

Sports fans know the book well, as the the erotic novel featuring Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski made its way across the internet. Gronkowski read a quote from the book during Super Bowl media day and even made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The book gained a lot of attention, but was eventually pulled from Amazon as well as some other markets.

Even though the book was pulled, many copies were already sold. Two anonymous individuals are targeting the author Lacey Noonan (a pen name), Apple, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble in a lawsuit, according to Hollywood Reporter.

"The cover of the book contains a photograph of the Plaintiffs which was taken as part of their engagement journey leading toward their wedding," according to the complaint. "The photograph was appropriated by the Defendants for commercial gain without the permission of the Plaintiffs nor with the permission of any lawful copyright holder."

Essentially, the couple's photo was used on the cover without their permission. It's not clear how Noonan was able to access the photo. Nevertheless, the couple was not pleased when they found out what the book was about.

"The subject matter of the book, A Gronking to Remember, is less than tasteful and is offensive," according to the complaint. "The use of the Plaintiffs image has held them up to ridicule and embarrassment. This outrageous connection has been further aggravated when the book, with the Plaintiffs image, has been reproduced in the media nationwide. The book has been shown as a source of ribald humor on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live as well as being displayed and read before the press at media day for the Super Bowl."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the lawsuit is currently in federal court. Amazon says it is not technically a publisher of the book and says it 'had no knowledge that the cover image was created without Plaintiffs’ consent." Amazon also claims the plaintiff hasn't suffered any damages.

"A Gronking to Remember" was book one in the Gronkowski erotica series. No date has been set for the second book. Noonan will likely have to settle the lawsuit before she begins on her next novel.
