Rob Ford is turning lemons into lemonade.

The NFL-themed tie he wore during his confession that he smoked crack cocaine was put up for bidding last Wednesday, according to the Toronto Sun. Seven days and 111 bids later, the tie sold for $16,100.

“I’m surprised someone would pay that much for a tie,” Ford said last week as the bidding amount skyrocketed.

Ford admitted in 2013 that he had smoked crack  “probably in one of my drunken stupors.”

The sale has caused such a fuss that people are asking him to sell other things from his mayoral tenure.

“We have some stuff coming down the pipe, pardon the pun,” Ford said.

The former mayor of Toronto said that 10 percent of the profits he will make off the tie and other items will go to the hospitals where he is receiving treatment for cancer. He has also said that he will donate the rest of the money to charities, though he has yet to decide on which ones.

Other items sold off so far include a personalized Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey, which went for $1,550, the pajama pants he was photographed wearing in a local Wal-Mart, which sold for $660, and a “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster that Ford displayed in the mayor’s office garnered $635.

Ford said last Thursday that he will be sad to part with the pajama bottoms.

"They're comfortable," he said.
