Ndamukong Suh isn't expected to be on the free-agent market for long, so the Oakland Raiders are scheduling the defensive tackle as their first meeting.

The Raiders are in the process of planning a visit with Suh next week, Mike Silver of NFL Media reported on Thursday. Teams can begin deliberations with player representatives after 4 p.m. ET Saturday. Player meetings will be allowed and contracts can be sent to the league after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Suh is expected to generate interest from numerous teams. The Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts are considered Suh's most likely suitors, and the Raiders have more than enough salary cap space to negotiate a deal. They are reported to be $58.8 million under the 2015 cap.

Suh, 28, was selected by the Lions as the second overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has 36 sacks in five seasons with Detroit, including 8.5 last season. Suh is set to become a free agent on March 10 after the Lions declined to franchise tag him at the cost of $26.9 million.
