Joe Flacco's Ravens crossed into the end zone in every quarter, as they saw off Drew Brees' Saints in a battle of two Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks.
Flacco threw the opening TD of the contest, finding wide receiver Steve Smith with a 15-yard pass on his way to racking up 243 yards in 18 completed plays.
Brees, meanwhile, made 35 of 45 plays he attempted, gaining 420 yards for the eventual losers and throwing three TD passes.
Crucial to the Ravens' winning hopes was Justin Forsett, who gained 182 yards off 22 rush attempts - crossing for 13- and 20-yard touchdowns in the second and fourth quarters respectively.
The Saints led 17-14 at half-time, on the back of two Brees touchdown passes, finding Jimmy Graham in the first quarter and then Marques Colston prior to the main interval.
But the first 13 points of the second half went the way of the Ravens, with two Justin Tucker field goals - including a 55-yard monster - sandwiching Will Hill's 44-yard interception return for a TD.
Shayne Graham made it a seven-point margin with a 34-yard field goal, before Forsett's second TD all but sealed the win for Baltimore.
Brees' second TD pass to Jimmy Graham for the game forced the Ravens to deal with an onside kick with 40 seconds to play, but Baltimore did so to improve to a 7-4 record.
Despite their strong record, the Ravens remain bottom of the American Football Conference North division, with all four sides on seven wins.
In a rescheduled contest, the Buffalo Bills thrashed the New York Jets 38-3 in Detroit.
Snow storms in Buffalo saw the Bills take their fixture to Michigan, but the 'hosts' dominated regardless - with quarterback Kyle Orton throwing two TD passes in his 230 yards gained.
Buffalo moved to a 6-5 record, but remain third in the AFC East ahead of the last-placed Jets (2-9).
