There was a familiar face in the Royals locker room once the World Series celebrations began. It wasn't a Kansas City player — it was a fan. A fan who goes by the name of Paul Rudd.

The actor is a lifelong, diehard Royals fan, so it was no real surprise to see him at Citi Field on Sunday (US time) cheering for his team. But after the game was clinched and the bottles of champagne were popped, it was Rudd who was living out every kid's childhood fantasy of celebrating a world championship.

If you'll remember last year after the Royals clinched a berth to the Fall Classic, Rudd suggested he'd host a keg party at his mother's house. So, is he going to make that happen this year when the team arrives back in Missouri?

Paul Rudd and I got together to share a drink last night. Thank you, Kansas City Royals, for one hell of a season!

At any rate, it looked like the Royals loved having Rudd around to celebrate their big moment.

Must see: Kansas City Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas decided Paul Rudd was way too dry during #WorldSeries celebration. Rudd agreed. They fixed it

Can't have anyone dry in that locker room.
