Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. told the New York Post he played his rookie season with two hamstring tears.

The injuries forced him to miss the preseason and first four games of the regular season. According to Beckham, the hamstring tears never fully healed.

"They healed up enough to where I could play with them, but they were never truly good and I’m still just working on them and trying to get ready," he said following Sunday's Pro Bowl.

Beckham also revealed when the injuries occurred. He said the first happened on the first day of training camp, and the other occurred just before the Giants’ third preseason game.

"I should be good by training camp," Beckham said. "The plan is to play at full strength next season, and I definitely hope to do it. I’m just looking forward to getting healthy."

The rookie receiver performed well in the Pro Bowl, catching five passes for 89 yards on the winning team. He also made some spectacular one-handed receptions during warmups.

If Beckham can catch 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games with two hamstring tears, just imagine the damage he can do in a full, healthy season.
