FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup slalom leader Felix Neureuther is eagerly awaiting Tuesday's race at Schladming.
The meeting in Austria represents the last on the World Cup calendar before the world championships at Beaver Creek next month.
Neureuther leads the slalom standings by 24 points ahead of Marcel Hirscher, who tops the overall table by 162 points from Kjetil Jansrud.
Sunday saw both Hirscher and Neureuther make the podium in the slalom in Kitzbuhel, the two rivals taking second and third respectively behind Mattias Hargin.
And Neureuther cannot wait to go again on the slopes of Schladming.
"There will be even more spectators, and I am very excited," he said.
"This is certainly a cool story. You have to enjoy these moments as an athlete.
"The greater the pressure of the situation, the better it is.
"As an athlete, you live it. It was not always absolutely clear to me that these moments you need to enjoy the adrenaline in the body."
Neureuther is searching for his third slalom victory of the season, following earlier successes in Wengen and Madonna di Campiglio.
He has been a consistent performer, recording a top-three finish in all six slalom meetings so far this season.
Hirscher has been similarly impressive, with his second place in Kitzbuhel representing his fifth podium result, including wins in Zagreb and Are.
Both men will be keen to put in another strong display before their attentions turn to the worlds in Colorado, which get under way next week.
