Michael Saunders and the Blue Jays received some good news Friday.
The outfielder will only need five to six weeks of recovery time following surgery for a torn meniscus, not through the All-Star Break in July as was previously reported.
Michael Saunders had 60% of the meniscus removed from his left knee removed this afternoon. He's now expected to be out 5-6 weeks. #BlueJays
