The Mets extended their winning streak to eight games with Sunday's 7-6 victory and series sweep over the Marlins, but it came at a price.

Relief pitcher Jerry Blevins and catcher Travis d'Arnaud were lost to injury, Blevins with a fractured left forearm and d'Arnaud with a broken right hand, according to the New York Daily News.

Blevins exited the game in the seventh inning after being struck on the left forearm by a line drive off the bat of Dee Gordon. Acquired from the Nationals toward the end of spring training, Blevins has faced 15 batters this season, retiring them all.

Meanwhile, d'Arnaud left the game in the bottom of the seventh inning after being hit on his right wrist by a 92 mph fastball courtesy of A.J. Ramos. He went 2 for 3 with an RBI before being replaced by Anthony Recker. His 10 RBIs lead the Mets this season.

"It's a good day for us with the win but also a tough day," Mets manager Terry Collins told reporters after the game. "... We have to enjoy today. We can't go home on a sour note."
