The Braves' outfield situation just became a little more rocky.

After undergoing tests on his left foot, the Braves revealed that Melvin Upton (who went by B.J. Upton until recently) has inflammation in his foot and will be sidelined for up to two months.

Upton was reportedly suffering discomfort near his toes, which led to the tests.

The Braves open their season Apri 6 in Miami. Even though Upton has struggled mightily in his two seasons in Atlanta (he has a .198/.279/.314 line), he is still the most stable fixture in the outfield after the Braves traded away Jason Heyward and Justin Upton.
