Making his first Grapefruit League start since undergoing Tommy John surgery in October 2013, Mets right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey pitched two perfect innings against the Tigers on Friday.

Harvey struckout three Tigers — Anthony Gose, Jordan Lennerton and Bryan Holaday — all on fastballs, topping the radar gun at an impressive 99 mph.

The 25 year-old, who finished the 2013 season with a 2.27 ERA and 191/31 K/BB ratio in 178 1/3 innings, threw just 25 pitches; eight balls and 17 strikes.

Harvey will likely to make his regular-season debut on April 9 against the Nationals.
