Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount will have a clean record when he takes the field on Super Bowl Sunday.

Blount's attorney, Casey White, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Friday that the former Steeler has completed his 50 hours of community service and will have his drug charge withdrawn.

"He was happy to put this behind him," White said. "He knew flying out West that his duties regarding this were fulfilled and it was just a matter of paperwork being processed."

On Aug. 20, Blount and former teammate Le’Veon Bell were stopped on McKnight Road in Ross Township, a Pittsburgh suburb, and arrested when police found marijuana in Bell’s vehicle. In December, District Judge Robert Opiela told Blount he was to complete his community service by Feb. 4.

Blount was released by the Steelers after he left the field before their game against the Titans in Nashville on Nov. 17 was over. He then signed a two-year deal with the Patriots, his previous team, just three days later.

Blount will likely face disciplinary action from the NFL, but that will decided after the Super Bowl.
