Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still said his 5-year-old daughter, Leah, has "hit a pretty serious complication" in her fight against cancer.

Leah Still was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma last June and was given a 50 percent chance to survive. Devon Still, a second-round pick out of Penn State in 2012, was cut by the Bengals in August. The team added him to the practice squad to help him pay for his daughter's treatment and added him to the active roster in September.

The Stills announced that Leah was cancer-free in March, but she continued to get treatment to ensure cancer cells would not return and underwent a stem cell transplant two weeks ago.

VOD, which is hepatic veno-occlusive disease, is a condition that causes some small veins in the liver to be obstructed. It's caused by a high dose of chemotherapy required before a transplant.
