There still are some who want to see Joe Paterno's tarnished name restored.

Pennsylvania Rep. Michael Regan plans to introduce a bill that will rename the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge over the Susquehanna River the Joseph V. Paterno Memorial Bridge.

The bill hasn't been introduced yet, but a letter was sent out seeking cosponsors in the project.

Paterno's name has been stripped from buildings, trophies, honors and jobs in light of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. He was dismissed from Penn State, and died just a few months later from lung cancer.

Earlier this year, the NCAA restored 111 vacated victories, once again making Paterno the winningnest college football coach.
