Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher says quarterback Jameis Winston’s pending decision on whether to enter the NFL, “would not shock me either way.”

Fisher said Friday on ESPN Radio’s “Mike and Mike” show that he believes Winston would be one of the top two players chosen in the 2015 NFL Draft if he declares. Winston must declare his intention to enter the draft by Jan. 15.

According to NFL.com writer Chase Goodbread, Fisher told the show he would sit down with Winston to talk about his decision, but he has no idea what the redshirt sophomore has in mind.

"He's got to make a choice. He's got to see what he wants to do," Fisher said. "... I understand if he wants to go when a guy is that high. He's a very, very good student. He's very smart, but he loves playing baseball, he loves his time in college, he loves all the interaction of this, believe it or not. It would not shock me either way. We'll have those discussions soon."
