Giants up against it - Manning

The Giants have endured a roller-coaster season so far in the NFL, losing four games with three wins sandwiched in between.

Tom Coughlin's Giants were beaten 31-21 by the Dallas Cowboys on October 19 as their win-loss record slipped to 3-4 in the National Football Conference (NFC) East.

While their start to the season has not been ideal, Manning is confident the Giants can turn it around, starting against American Football Conference (AFC) South leaders the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.

"We know we have our backs against the wall a little bit with the way we started the season," Manning said.

"We don't have the record we want but we still know it is going to come down to how we finish the season and it starts on Monday night playing a good [Indianapolis] Colts team.

"We are going to come out ready to play and we need everybody to step up, the young guys are no longer rookies with their first experiences so we need those guys to step up and the veterans to step up as well."

Manning has completed 146 of 225 passes for 1573 yards in seven games this season.
