Froome already targeting 2015 Tour de France

The Team Sky rider triumphed at cycling's most prestigious race in 2013, but his defence ended in disappointment when was forced to pull out of the 2014 Tour early after breaking his hand and wrist.

Froome bounced back to finish second behind Spain's Alberto Contador at the Vuelta earlier this month.

The Kenyan-born Briton has now set his sights on 2015 and in particular having another attempt at winning the Tour.

"It's been an amazing experience at this Vuelta," he told Sky Sports. "I've really taken a lot away from it and I think we all can as a team.

"The Tour is a long way away but it's definitely there at the back of the mind and I look forward to seeing what route they've got for us.

"I've definitely come away from this Vuelta quite hungry and looking forward to getting stuck into next season."
