Video: Floyd's Top 5: Mayweather No.1, Ali No.5

Mayweather, appearing on ESPN Deportes’ Nacion ESPN , offered up his list of the top five boxers of all-time.

However, it was difficult to ascertain what annoyed people the most; the fact that Mayweather predictably placed himself atop the list, or the fact that he had Muhammad Ali sitting at a lowly fifth on the countdown.

This isn’t the first time that Ali, who is widely regarded as the best fighter of all-time by basically everyone in the know, has been the centre of a Mayweather-related controversy, after Floyd announced that he was better than “The Greatest” in the lead up to his ‘Fight of the Century’ with Manny Pacquiao back in May.

Ali (or whoever runs his Twitter page) hit back with this perfect jab at the time, however it seems Floyd is up to his old tricks again.

The 38-year-old is preparing for what is said to be his final bout against Andre Berto in September, and made up for the underwhelming interest in the fight by creating a stir with his list, and left out the likes of Tyson, Robinson and Frazier.

Floyd Mayweather’s Top 5 Boxers of all-time:

1. Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

2. Roberto Duran

3. Pernell Whitaker

4. Julio Cesar Chavez

5. Muhammad Ali
