Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao in L.A.

While Americans shell out $100 to watch the Manny Pacquiao fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., viewers in Mexico will enjoy the self-proclaimed "Fight of the Century" free of charge.

The World Boxing Council told TMZ both Televisa and Azteca, competitors in the Mexican market, will air the May 2 bout at no cost to viewers.

"Televisa and Azteca must be recognized for their great commitment, for bringing to Mexico this bout for free," the World Boxing Council said. "This has never, ever happened in any country of the world."

The Mexican Tourism Board is one of the sponsors that helped the fight generate $13.2 million in sponsorship money, according to ESPN.com. The "Mexico, Live It to Believe It" slogan will appear next to the largest sponsor, Monterrey-based beer company Tecate.
