His contract could be worth as much as $44 million dollars over the next seven years, but it will also cost him dearly if he decides to move on. His buyout is reportedly $5 million dollars if he leaves before 2017, $3 million if he leaves between 2017-18 and $1 million if he leaves in 2019 or later.

The deal is laden with bonuses, ranging from $50,000 for reaching a non-playoff bowl game and $200,000 if he wins a national championship. Fisher already has one national title under his belt from 2013.

The new deal will put him in the company of Nick Saban (Alabama), Bob Stoops (Oklahoma), Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M), Charlie Strong (Texas) and Jim Harbaugh (Michigan) as the only men in college football being paid $5 million or more per season.
