South Region top seed Duke took an early lead and never looked back, beating fifth-seeded Utah, 63-57, in Houston to advance to the Elite Eight.
Freshman Justise Winslow was the hero of the night for Duke, scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Playing at home one day after his 19th birthday, Winslow became the third Duke freshman with a 20-point, 10-rebound NCAA Tournament game in the program's history, joining Elton and Gene Brand.

"Points are important, but points at critical times are worth a lot more," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski told CBS after the game. "He's getting those points at critical times."
Duke's other talented freshmen are Tyus Jones, who had 15 points, and Jahlil Okafor, who had six points and eight rebounds.
The two teams were tied at eight with just over 12 minutes to go in the first half. An Amile Jefferson layup gave Duke (32-4) a lead that would swell to 14 in the second half, one it would never relinquish.
Duke will play Gonzaga in the regional final on Sunday. Gonzaga will be looking for its first Final Four appearance while Duke is seeking its 16th. However, Gonzaga is a more experienced team, and Krzyzewski knows it.
"They're old," Krzyzewski said. "Hopefully our guys have learned from winning tonight, and they won't be nervous on Sunday."
Delon Wright, who got his third foul on a questionable call with about five minutes left in the first half, finished with 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting. Dallin Bachynski added 11 points for the Utes, and 7-foot freshman Jakob Poeltl had 10 points and eight rebounds.
