Top quarterback recruit Deondre Francios gave the Florida State fan base a scare on Thursday when he tweeted that he was decommiting from the school.

Mysteriously, the tweet disappeared a few minutes later without explanation, according to Yahoo! Sports.

An assistant at Francios' high school, IMG Acadamy, furthered the confusion when he told Jacksonville.com that Francios did decommit from FSU.

When that site reached out to Francois' high school coach Chris Weinke, Francios' mysterious tweet disappeared.

Three hours after Francios' initial tweet appeared and was deleted, he cleared the air about his commitment status with Florida State.

Francios is ranked No. 39 in the 2015 incoming class. He will be joining an FSU class that is ranked No. 4 by Rivals.com.
