DeMarco Murray responds perfectly to Joseph Randle’s remarks

Cowboys running back Joseph Randle sufficiently stuffed his foot in his mouth Wednesday when he said former teammate DeMarco Murray, now with the Eagles, left "a lot of meat on the bone last season," insinuating Murray could have rushed for more yards.

It seems silly considering Murray rushed for a league-best 1,845 yards and won Offensive Player of the Year. After Eagles OTAs on Thursday, Murray handled the situation in a much more mature and respectful manner.

After laughing about the comments, Murray said "hopefully he can taste some of that meat this year."

"They’re a good team. Hopefully he can get a chance to run behind that line and do some good things," Murray said, via CSNPhilly.com. "But I’m not worried about it. I didn’t hear about it until now. It’s not a big deal."

Randle is setting the bar high for himself. He has recorded 507 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 105 carries in two NFL seasons. Last year alone, Murray carried the ball 392 times and scored 13 times on the ground.
