In his third pre-season match in America, Dellavedova contributed seven points and seven assists as the Cavaliers fell to a 92-74 defeat against the Charlotte Bobcats.
Dellavedova is attempting to win a place on the Cavaliers' roster for the upcoming season and is currently third in the pecking order at the point-guard position behind Kyrie Irving and Jarrett Jack.
However, Jack is out injured at the moment and Dellavedova was given 23 minutes of court time in the pre-season encounter as he attempts to impress Cavaliers coach Mike Brown.
In other NBA pre-season action, Australian veteran Andrew Bogut helped the Golden State Warriors to a 100-95 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Beijing.
Bogut scored nine points from 32 minutes of action, but even more importantly pulled down 14 rebounds, dished off four assists and blocked two shots as the Warriors came from behind to register their second win of the pre-season.
