If anyone can talk about the pressures of winning as well as the Yankees, it’s Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.

According to the New York Post , Garrett visited the Yankees at spring training Saturday and spoke to the team as a guest of Yankees manager Joe Girardi.

What Garrett said during his pep talk is unknown, but the team seemed to enjoy it.

“I met him before, he was awesome,” Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner said afterwards.

Garrett is an unabashed Yankees fan that has solid ties to New York. He served as Kerry Collins’ backup with the Giants from 2000-03, and Yankees GM Brian Cashman once roomed with Tom Coughlin’s son in Jersey City.

“I am a big Jason Garrett fan,’’ Cashman said. “I had dinner with him during spring training one year, and he is a very high-end guy.”

That’s a serious case for the “six degrees of separation” theory.
