The Seahawks continue to lock up key defenders to long-term contract extensions.
Seattle and defensive end Cliff Avril on Friday agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $28.5 million with $16 million guaranteed, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network first reported.

Seattle secured Avril just one day after signing linebacker K.J. Wright to a multi-year deal .
So the Seahawks now have Avril, Bennett, Wright, Chancellor, Sherman, and Thomas all signed long term. Yikes.

Avril has 14 tackles and 4.5 sacks this season.
