The trio of Yi Siling, Zhang Binbin and Wu Liuxi combined for 1253.8 points to set the new world mark at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range.

However, it was ruled Zhang was using unauthorised equipment in Incheon to render the world record invalid, before a judging committee overruled the decision - claiming the competitor "didn't intend to break the rule" to reinstate the record.

Iran's Najmeh Khedmati, Narjes Emamgholinejad Andevari and Elaheh Ahmadi combined to win silver (1245.9), ahead of bronze medallists South Korea (1241.6), represented by Kim Seola, Kim Gaenam, and Jeong Mira.

Iran, though, finished one-two in the women's 10 metre air rifle final.

Khedmati took out gold ahead of countrywoman Andevari and China's Zhang.

Khedmati won with a points total of 207.9, just edging Andevari (206.6), with the pair well clear of bronze medallist Zhang (186.3).

In the women's 25m team pistol event, South Korea topped the podium.

Kim Jang-Mi, Kwak Jung-Hye and Lee Jung-Eun won gold with a combined score of 1748 points, beating China's Zhang Jingjing, Chen Ying and Zhou Qingyuan (1747).

Third were Indian trio Rahi Jeevan Sarnobat, Anisa Sayyed and Heena Sidhu with 1729 points.

In the sepak takraw doubles finals, Myanmar claimed gold in both the men's and women's events.

The men's final saw Myanmar beat South Korea 21-19 21-18, while in the women's decider, Myanmar downed Laos 21-16 21-15.
