Greenway was initially set to make $7 million in 2015, the final year of his contract with the Vikings. He now has a new base salary of $3.4 million with $1 million guaranteed and up to $600,000 in incentives.

Greenway, 32, was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft and has spent his entire 8-year career in Minnesota.

The two-time Pro Bowler has made 1,203 tackles in 125 career games, good for fourth in franchise history. He recorded a career-low 93 tackles, tied for second-most on the team, in 12 games last season.
