Rodgers strained his left calf during the Packers' 20-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, while he is also battling the flu.
But while Green Bay have already clinched a spot in the post-season, neither is likely to stop Rodgers from playing in the Packers' final regular season game against the Detroit Lions on December 28, with the NFC North title and home-field advantage in the play-offs are on the line.
"Well, it's too early to give a 100 per cent guarantee but it would definitely take a lot to hold me out of that game," Rodgers told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after Sunday's victory.
Rodgers played through the injury against Tampa Bay, completing 31 of 40 passes for 318 yards.
The QB admitted afterwards, however, that he did not have the mobility that is typical of his play.
After the game, he was still limping and described the muscle as "really tight".
Heading into the final round of the NFL's regular season, Green Bay are second behind the Lions in the NFC North with both teams holding 11-4 win-loss records - the winner at the Packers' Lambeau Field will claim the title.
