The Reds are struggling, and manager Bryan Price took out some of his frustrations on members of the local media.

Price went on a 5-minute, 34-second tirade over, among other things, a report of a player missing Sunday’s game.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reported (accurately) that catcher Devin Mesoraco was not with the team Sunday in St. Louis. Price seemed to resent the fact that the paper was reporting on his club's players.

“I don’t know what the importance is for everyone to know if we have a player here,” Price said during his daily session with reporters.

After a few of the reporters left, Price launched into his rant, which reportedly included 77 uses of the F-word or a variant. A portion of what Price told reporters:

The Reds (6-7) were on a four-game losing streak before Monday's 6-1 win over the Brewers in Milwaukee.
