The Brewers have once again made headlines for helping out a dog in need.
After a spring training session in Maryvile, Ariz., infielder Scooter Gennett discovered a stray dachshund wandering around. Gennett managed to scoop the dog up and take it to a local vet, where it will be cared for.

— Scooter Gennett (@Sgennett2) February 27, 2015The Brewers rescued a stray at spring training last year, naming him Hank. The dog became the unofficial mascot of the team and even won Dog of the Year at the World Dog Awards.
At this rate, the Brewers might want to look into opening their own dog rescue shelter. Who knows how many more furry friends they might find at spring training?
