Linebacker Brandon Spikes is a free agent, and he spent Wednesday visiting his former team, the Patriots.

Spikes spent four seasons with New England from 2010-13 before signing with the Bills for the 2014 season. After parting with the Patriots, he took to Twitter to compare his time with the team as "4 years a slave," a reference to the movie "12 Years a Slave."
