It appears Alabama safety Geno Smith didn’t learn his lesson the first time.

The senior was arrested on charges of driving under the influence for a second time Saturday morning, according to AL.com. Smith’s first DUI arrest came in August 2013. He was suspended one game following the 2013 arrest.

The senior, who finished fifth on the team with 56 tackles last season, was in line for a starting safety spot in 2015.

According to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office website, Smith’s bond was set at $1,000.

Following his first arrest and suspension, Alabama coach Nick Saban said Smith was a “really good person in the program and just made a choice.”

Saban did not address Smith's arrest Saturday, but he expected to do so early next week.

Smith tweeted an apology Saturday night:
