Report: Handful of teams already interested in C.J. Spiller

C.J. Spiller

C.J. Spiller may be out in Buffalo now that LeSean McCoy will be the featured back for the Bills, but come March 10, the unrestricted free agent will have a handful of teams waiting in line to sign him.

According to ESPN, the Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins, and 49ers are potential suitors with considerable interest in the 27-year-old Spiller.

With the Cardinals and Dolphins, Spiller would respectfully fall behind starters Andre Ellington and Lamar Miller on the depth chart. But with the 49ers and Jets, teams that have age and durability concerns, Spiller could make an instant impact.

Spiller was limited to nine games last season because of injuries, rushing just 78 times for 300 yards and zero touchdowns. He also caught 19 passes for 125 yards and a TD. In his five-year career with the Bills he is averaging 47.4 rushing yards and 17.1 receiving yards per game.
