Why Hawthorn WILL win the 2015 AFL Grand Final

- Ranked #1 for attack and defence in the AFL. Clearly the best side left.

- Sam Mitchell and Luke Hodge playing incredible football - both rise to the occasion when it counts.

- The Hawks need to fall back on their good record against the Eagles – Won five out of the last six meetings since 2012.

- More familiar with the MCG – Eagles have played their only once in nearly 18 months.

- Cyril Rioli, Luke Breust and Brad Hill are maybe too explosive forward of centre for the Eagles small and mid sized defenders.

Why Hawthorn WON'T win the 2015 AFL Grand Final

- Prone to serious off-days.  A sign of a side whose superstar status is beginning to decline.

- Jack Gunston failing to get up would be a blow – forces Ryan Schoenmakers to play in a forward role.

- Could get too wrapped up in their own hype – despite the Eagles inexperience in finals, this will not be a walk over.

- Had to play one extra game this finals series and travel twice to Perth - may run out of gas in second half.

- James Frawley was much improved on preliminary final night against Fremantle, but Grand Final day is a whole other prospect. He has huge rob on Josh Kennedy or Jack Darling ahead.
